WARRaNT Project Launches to Drive Safe, Secure and Resilient Maritime Digitalisation Across Europe
June 26, 2025
WARRANT at ENISE 2025
October 21, 2025We are pleased to announce that TECNALIA Research & Innovation presented the WARRANT project at CCIclon 2025 Europe, supporting the project’s dissemination activities at one of the leading events dedicated to cybersecurity, resilience and digital technologies.
At the CCIclon 2025 Europe that took place last September in Valencia, TECNALIA Research & Innovation presented the WARRANT project, which aims to ensure the safety, resilience, and cybersecurity of waterborne digital systems (WDS) by developing a reference methodology and platform to detect, prevent, and respond to threats and risks across their lifecycle.
Showcasing the WARRANT Project
Tecnalia’s presentation introduced WARRANT’s consortium and main objectives, showcasing the four Living Labs that will validate the project’s research outcomes in real-world maritime environments.
Through this work, WARRANT aims to support the development and assessment of digital solutions that are not only innovative, but also trustworthy, robust, and suitable for real-world waterborne operations.
Special emphasis was placed on Living Lab 3 – “The SEAFAR use case”, which focuses on remote vessel operation. Tecnalia described the Remote Operation System and the Object Detection System (ODS) used to identify objects in a ship’s trajectory, outlining potential threats that could compromise the ODS model and lead to safety, reputational, and economic impacts if attacked.
