On 25 August, Abhishek Dhyani presented the WARRANT paper “Robust Vessel Maneuvering Modelling using Set-membership Identification” at the IFAC World Congress 2026 in Busan, Republic of Korea.
On 17–18 June 2026, Dr. Frédéric Etienne Kracht from DST – Development Centre for Ship Technology and Transport Systems presented DST’s work on the remote-control research vessel ELLA and its virtual and physical demonstrators for automated inland navigation at the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency of Germany (BSH) in Rostock.
As part of the WARRANT project living lab, SEAFAR demonstrated how remote vessel operations are already delivering safer, more efficient and scalable inland waterway transport.
At ENISE 2025, the key cybersecurity event organised by INCIBE, TECNALIA Research & Innovation presented the WARRANT project during the "CREATE TO TRANSFER – 3rd Edition" workshop, highlighting its research on cybersecurity for AI-based waterborne systems.
