WARRANT joins the IWT Projects Cooperation Platform!
June 23, 2026The 1st General Assembly of the WARRANT project successfully took place on 9 & 10 June 2026 in Bilbao, Spain, bringing together consortium partners to review progress, exchange knowledge, and plan the next steps towards more dependable and resilient waterborne digital systems.
Hosted by TECNALIA Research & Innovation, the two-day meeting provided an excellent opportunity to assess achievements across all work packages, participate in interactive technical workshops, and discuss the advancement of the project’s Living Labs. Partners shared updates on the WARRANT methodology, the development of the Knowledge Platform, dissemination and standardisation activities, as well as the project’s management and coordination efforts.

A key highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the four Living Labs, demonstrating how the WARRANT framework is being applied to real-world maritime use cases, including containerships, smart container systems, autonomous green vessels, and remote operation systems.
The consortium also aligned on priorities for the coming months, reinforcing its commitment to advancing trustworthy digitalisation in the waterborne sector
